We were so excited to be featured on Style Me Pretty Living for this darling ladies fantasy football draft party styled shoot! An excerpt from the feature is below!
From Kelley Cannon… Fall is in the air and football season is almost upon us. Janice & I are fierce (but friendly!) competitors in our real life, all-ladies Fantasy Football league. Ladies leagues are becoming the new book club, so as event planners and ladies who love to entertain, we dreamed up a little draft inspiration for you to enjoy!
To get things started, we worked with Michele from Meant to Be Calligraphy to have calligraphed cocktail swizzle sticks made. Determining draft order should be more fun that picking a number out of a basket, so as an alternative, we had the ladies choose a cocktail and the draft order was on the backside of the swizzle stick. After toasting to the new season, the ladies found their seats at a lovely garden-inspired table with florals from B Floral & Event Design, featuring pre-set draft dinner boxes. Once dinner was underway, the live draft began which featured a huge draft board and player packs for each lady to make their selections. Midway through the draft, the ladies could take a break to munch on some Halftime Fuel snacks or stop by the Hydration Station for some specialty cocktails.
Every Fantasy Football enthusiast puts a lot of thought into their team name, so what better way to show team pride than with custom shirts featuring each drafter’s team name! We also made a custom trophy which served as a little incentive and bragging rights for the winner.
