Chuppah with a View

An elegant white and green wedding is always a classic, but when you add in some B Floral hanging installations and gorgeous florals and a venue with a view like the Hay Adams Hotel, it raises the bar to another level.  I should also mention that this family was so wonderful to work with and the couple was most excited about getting married.  As it should be.

Above the aisle hung heavy greenery and glass votives leading to a "floating" chuppah made of mixed greenery with an amazing view of the White House.  The arrangements were a mix of tall and low arrangements with lots of wild, loose greenery.  Enjoy this beautiful wedding captured so perfectly by The Observatory Photography.

Pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins

Fall is in the air and I thought it only fitting to post one of my all time favorite weddings.  The bride wanted pumpkins.  Not just any orange pumpkin, but a variety of white, gray and peach.  We scoured the farmers markets, Virginia farms, and even Whole Foods to find the perfect selection of heirloom pumpkins for this wedding.  The wedding took place in The Ronald Reagan Building a few years ago.  The incredible images are by Procopio Photography.
